Wedding Flowers
One of the reasons for not going all out and decorating everything with any type of flowers is that you could over do it all. You might want to just consider making some simple arrangements for the center of each table and place them in small vases. Plus, you can think about just keeping flowers strictly in your ceremony.
It seems now days that these paper machete flowers are getting more popular all the time as well as some really fine looking hand made roses created from different colors of tissue paper. Once they’re placed on green pipe cleaners or long wires you can cover them in green tissue paper and they become very attractive and beautiful. It’s also a very nice way to save some money on the flower budget while being able to spend some time excellent quality time with your friends and family in creating them.
If you chose the right wedding hall your decoration budget can always be thrown in with the cost of renting the church, chapel or hall. Often these places will charge you a little bit more for your ceremony in order to cover the cost of the flowers because they want your business and usually have excellent connections to many florists they’ve used previously.
When you’ve tried everything you can and it’s not possible to get a great deal at the hall or church you can always try limiting the ceremonial decorations to those involved actually in the ceremony. You can put strategic flowers on wedding party member’s clothes. Plus, if you really have to because of budgetary limitation you might want to think about pinning a bunch of balloons in the areas where all your fine guests will be seated or even create some flowers out of tissue paper all on your own.
To trim that budget problem go out and buy those flowers yourself from a wholesaler, and produce simple displays such as six tulips in a glass vase. Plus, many of us have already seen where you can use the bridesmaids’ bouquets as centerpieces to really get the best value out of them. It’s kinda like double dipping.
A popular and budget conscience idea would be instead of a ton of fresh cut flowers being purchased, consider using potted plants as your centerpieces. Have fun decorating all those wonderful terracotta pots and pick plants that flower in co-coordinating colors to your scheme. Now that’s a keen idea.
When the wedding is over and most of the people have gone, give out these wonderful centerpieces to those on the wedding planning team or someone who might live along and would enjoy a beautiful plant with great memories attached to it. These plants, or centerpieces, will last long after the day has finished and provide many lovely gifts for others you’d like to give them to. You’ll be the belle of the ball.
A few alternatives ideas and choices are to have your floral centerpieces include candles and fruit. Candles are a wonderful way of creating an air of romance and enchantment for your wedding and reception and look particularly effective if your hall or room is dimly lit. However, if you plan to hold your reception in the middle of the day or early afternoon when there’s just plenty of natural light forget the candles. During the evening candles will always produce the appropriate dramatic effect for you.
